This concert by the Featherstone County Secondary School band took place in 1973. Photographs taken by Nigel Tupman and were produced on a Johnson's Jumbo box enlarger. Nigel says that you have to wave a 60 watt light bulb in a figure of eight pattern to expose the clamped paper underneath!
FEATHERSTONE COUNTRY SECONDARY SCHOOL BAND CANADA TOUR 1974
This photograph (left) was taken in the school hall just before a momentous tour of Canada by the school band.
This photograph was found amongst the papers of the Late Marcus Taylor and it is assumed that he took this photograph for the school. Unusually this image has been printed on a silk gloss paper.
